112. European Emergency Number
112 is the European Emergency Number.
- It was created to serve citizens on a 24-hour basis in cases of need.
- In any EU country you need help such as police, fire brigade, EKAB ambulance or port call 112.
- Your qualified staff will immediately respond to your phone call with which you can communicate in one of the main European languages.
- Calling 112 from a landline or mobile phone, from a telephone booth or an outdoor coin or card phone is free of charge.
- The European Emergency Number 112 also operates in Greece to serve the citizens who visit our country.
- The number 112 operates within the reach of any mobile network. That is, even if your own network is not operating in a specific location, you can call 112 as long as there is coverage from another network.
- Works with or without a SIM card on your mobile phone.
